This is a translation for your convenience. The legally binding version is the German privacy policy.

Thank you for your interest in our products. The protection of your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about which data is processed when you visit this website.

2. Access to the website / server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information transmitted by your browser. This includes: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically correct presentation and the security of our website. The log files are stored for a limited time for security reasons and then deleted.

3. Contact via the enquiry form

If you contact us via the enquiry form, we process the data you provide (name, company, e-mail address, desired product, desired quantity and your message) in order to handle your enquiry and to prepare a quote.

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation or performance of a contract) and – where it is not a pre-contractual measure – on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The form data is transmitted to us by encrypted e-mail.

Your details are not passed on to third parties. We store the data until your enquiry has been dealt with and then delete it, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Contact by e-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, your details will be stored in order to handle the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR.

5. Fonts (locally hosted)

This website uses the fonts “Montserrat” and “Ethnocentric”. The font files are stored on our own server and loaded from there. No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) takes place. No personal data is transmitted to third parties when the fonts are loaded.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website uses no cookies and employs no analytics, tracking or advertising services. No usage profiles are created. A cookie consent banner is therefore not required.

7. Map display (OpenStreetMap)

In the “Bulk enquiry” section we embed a map from the service OpenStreetMap to show our pickup address (OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom). When the map is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to OpenStreetMap so that the map tiles can be delivered to your browser. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a clear presentation of the pickup location). No cookies are set and no usage profiles are created. 8. External links

This website contains links to our online shop at ab-industrie.de and to other external sites. When you click an external link you leave this website; the respective provider’s privacy policy applies to data processing on the target sites.

9. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

10. Your rights

Within the limits of the statutory provisions you have the right at any time to:

  • information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • rectification of incorrect data (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
