Wipes soaked in denatured ethanol for PE, PP, PB and PVDF. One wipe per weld up to Ø 63 mm – clean, economical and with no open bottle.

Tip: Apply the cleaner to a clean, lint-free paper towel and wipe with that – do not spray directly onto the pipe. Wipe again with a dry cloth immediately before welding.
Danger: Highly flammable. Keep away from ignition sources, open flames and hot surfaces – including pre-heated heating elements. Store cool and well ventilated. The safety data sheet applies.
PE Cleaner DVGW-certified, 1,000 ml
The PE cleaner is a ready-to-use cleaning and degreasing agent for welded joints on plastic pipes, manufactured by Caramba GmbH. It dissolves grease, dust and swarf and evaporates without residue. To DVGW VP 603 it is approved for the gas and drinking-water sector.
Even a fingerprint leaves a fine film of grease on the welding surface. During welding this film acts as a separating layer and can weaken the seam – the cleaner removes it reliably.

Caution: The cleaning wipes are not DVGW-certified. For certified applications in the drinking-water or gas sector, use the PE cleaner in the 1,000 ml bottle to DVGW VP 603.
Tip: Dried-out wipes can be re-moistened: add a splash of PE cleaner to the tin, close the lid and shake briefly. As long as the inner foil is intact, the alcohol is retained.
PE Cleaning Wipes, 150 wipes/tin
The PE cleaning wipes are soaked in denatured ethanol for weld-seam preparation – an own brand of AB Industrie Service. They remove grease and contamination from smooth plastic surfaces and evaporate without residue. A seam is only as good as its preparation.

Is the PE cleaner DVGW-certified?
Yes. The PE cleaner in the 1,000 ml bottle is tested to DVGW VP 603 and is therefore suitable for welded joints in the gas and drinking-water sector. The PE cleaning wipes are not DVGW-certified.

How many welded joints does one litre of PE cleaner cover?
One litre of PE cleaner is enough for about 80 joints at a diameter of 63 mm. For larger diameters or heavier soiling, accordingly fewer.

For clean pipes up to 63 mm diameter, one wipe per weld is usually enough. For larger diameters or heavier soiling, more wipes are needed.
